Normal cleaning and maintenance
We recommend cleaning with a vacuum cleaner at low to medium strength.
Special cleaning
If there is an accidental spill and the flax cord is stained, the best cleaning result is achieved by removing the stain as soon as possible.
In the case of spilled liquids, soak up the liquid with a damp, wrung out cloth. Dab gently.
Avoid rubbing the flax cord as this could pull out fibers and the rope will look worn.
Special consideration
As flax is a natural product, the shade of color of the flax cord will vary. Furniture made with flax cord must not be used outdoors, as the linen cord will absorb moisture/water.
