The base tubes of Fritz Hansen chairs are always 14mm diameter for all production years, except when they are plastic coated. If you have a larger diameter they are not Fritz Hansen! Our stabilizer do not match for plastic covered legs! (The hole is too small). You need to remove the plastic cover and reinstall after sliding on the stabilizer. Some customer had success to get the cover off by heat, hot air gun or hot water.
1 Set is 3 or 4 pieces, like selected

Assembling instruction
The stabilizers must be very firmly attached to the pipe. Thats why the stabilizer while assembling is often a bit difficult to move onto the leg.
To facilitate the installation, we recommend some dish washer fluid as a sliding aid! Coat the complete leg with some dish washer fluid, slide the stabilizer on and then wipe down the rest. When the dish washer fluid dried under the stabilizer it will be attached to the pipe.
For DOT stool select “early version”, it need to be glued under the seat shell. Use 2-compound glue or super-glue, remove old glue, degrease all parts with Acetone (NOT nail polish remover!). Do not use alcohol, thinner or similar! Professional gluing is degreased with acetone!
