The German Silversmith Christian Dell worked as a foreman at the metal workshop in Bauhaus. In the 1930’s he designed the KAISER idell series. For example, model 6631 luxury even reached worldwide popularity. The upper ball joint that connects the reflector with the lamp arm, and allows to adjust the lamp shade in any position. This was the only available for the Kaiser-lamps of the idell series at that time. Considerably characteristic of the whole lamp collection is the asymmetric appearance of the KAISER idell reflector screens. The reflector made out of high quality steel is available in the unmistakable original colours. With great efforts and skills it is high gloss lacquered and afterwards polished by hand.
